About Us...
"can I speak to Jerry please?” is the question we often respond to when answering a phone call. After all “it’s called ‘Jerry’s RV’ ”. True enough, our founder, Gerald (Jerry) Weir is no longer with us, but his name lives on through the business he established here in New Minas back in 1986. Jerry’s extensive experience in the mobile home and travel trailer repair industry went back many years and he passed much of his expertise on by working with his son-in-law, Scott. Since Jerry’s death in 1993 Scott and Chardell (Jerry’s daughter) have incorporated many other facets into the company’s operation in order to provide quality service all year long. Jerry’s RV is still a family run business as Scott’s brother, Ashley and sister, April have long since joined in and play an important role in providing all the services we have grown to include.
We provide used/consigned recreational vehicle sales and used auto sales, providing appropriate warranties and on the spot financing for your convenience.
We service all aspects of recreational vehicles and have 2 licensed propane technicians available for any system leaks or appliance repairs. One of our busiest areas is our hitch sales and trailer wiring installations as our hitch prices are very competitive. We provide access to marine parts and accessories at a discount for special orders as well as automotive performance parts.
Our small equipment side includes sales of product for “Husqvarna”, “Echo”, “Ariens”, “Simplicity”, “Briggs & Stratton”, to name just a few, and we provide warranty service for most makes of lawn and garden gas powered equipment . Our mobile service units are available for “on-site” repairs for both the RV and small equipment sides.
